This group is legendary. I’ve watched this vid like a million times 😂
hey arnaudd !!!!! sure i enjoy... it s really my favorite jazz played here...there is incredible phrasing all along the piece !!!!!!!
mark is playing so much saxophone goddamn
6:31 😮
Check out Emmet's Place episode 105
these guys are pretty good!
This performance -- and the more recent "Inner Urge" (Joe Henderson) with Peter Beets Trio -- are my favorite live Rosenwinkel takes. Well done by all hands!
Great playing from everyone, but as a drummer, I'm continuously amazed about Jeff Ballard's creativity and short reaction time to everything he hears around
Wow, amazing lines, .Bravo
If anyone knows why Kurt seems to me like an extinct star since Star of jupiter, I would be interested in understanding. Pat metheny and scofield, seem much less ephemeral... they are old suns...
Jeff somehow became the best drummer in the world around this time...
This is unbelievable. A musical triumph.
Groundwork for A Shifting Design. Magnificent! <3 F*** Jeff Ballard! Red Converse high tops. <3
This may be one of Kurt's best groups. This is a high level of ensemble playing.
Kurts high notes//chords and voicings make me feel like I'm in the future at a drive in movie with in n out hamburgers with spirit family partying
That's the most beautiful shit i read today
this and lennie groove are fucked... oops the lennie groove recoding is from a different concert.... still fucked though
9:45 so beautiful!
Tijdloos ,dit gezelschap gaat de geschiedenis in Remenicances aan jazz.
Commentaar, overmoedig om hier iets over te zeggen.Geniaal.
Great! Thanks!
I only listen to drone
This sucks. I hate changes.
Don't try to follow virtuosos , just do your own thing and enjoy the rest. 😃
Too bad about the camera editing geesh just leave it pointing in one place!!!
9:27 tf are you doing ali jackson
zoeken naar beter . Techniek en geniaal gespeeld.
Weergaloos
Klasse apart.en het dynamische het blijft lopen.
Kurt's improvising is spectacular. You could take that entire thing he plays, unchanged, as a brilliant composition.
Do you think he builds some kind of already prepared licks?
@@potent_rei all musicians do
Großartig!
yummmmm math jazz. my favorite.
A lot of Ligeti going down !
🔥💚
Wow! Brad and Kurt!
mark turner is out of this world the high notes and scale patterns he sheds really comes out in his playi kg so impressive
He does not even look at the frets. He FEELS the next. Only a very few guitarists have that ability
Just look at Kurt. He absorbes himself in what is happening, eyes closed, gently swaying. So into the groove
Kurt nails the archetype of tonal freedom
What d'angelico guitar is he playing?
all male panel, but still facemelt
As a jazz musician I have to say superb!
Absolutely love this group! Aaron Goldberg is extra incredible!
This is one of the most beautiful things in the entire Universe, an exemple of what humanity is made for... Thank's Mark and Kurt and all praises to GOD...
Una genialida fuera de serie
this is so frantic it is calming and so hopeful that it's becoming suicidal. beauty hurts. ballard and rosenwinkel are burning up like a meteors.
Stone-cold classic.
Haha, i came here from your video ;)
This videos constant cuts are trash sounds great though
I love this composition
What a band! All amazing musicians/composers that are keeping it alive. And a psychedelic cow to boot!
This is a 10. Amazing new jazz playing. But it swings and is evocative
This is mostly true in the second part , beginning is fine to be honnest
great band and composition... only regret is that the cameraman focus always on kurt right hand ;=))), i know right hand is important but for some guitarist, like me maybe, the left hand could be interesting also lol
